RIDE YOUR MOTORCYCLE, CAR OR TRUCK
TO BENEFIT MIAMI METRO ZOO FOR ITS 2009
FOURTH ANNUAL “AMY’S RIDE FOR THE ANIMALS”
Dedicated to the memory of Amy Neill, former Senior Zookeeper at Miami

WHAT: Fourth annual police-escorted ride from Tropical Park to Miami Metro
Zoo to help raise money for the signage and exhibit modification for the new
Male Baby Lions at Miami Metro Zoo.

A $20.00 donation per vehicle (up to two riders per vehicle) entitles registered participants with one free commemorative tee shirt per vehicle and free admission for up to two riders per vehicle to the Zoo on the day of the ride. Additional shirts are available for a $10.00 donation. There will also be snacks and Starbucks coffee provided free during registration and check-in at the Tropical Park. In addition, additional family members and friends who enter with registered participants will pay only $4.00 to visit the zoo instead of the normal $13.95 plus tax for adults.
Participants will enjoy special animal encounters in the Zoo’s Picnic Field, along with motorcycle displays and vendors who have sponsored the ride. There will also be a special Wildlife Show in the Zoo’s Amphitheater and a special pig Zookeeper talk.
WHEN: Sunday, March 22, 2009
• Registration and check-in from 8:45 am – 10:00 at Tropical Park.
Come in from the Bird Road entrance and look for the first large parking lot
on the right (NW corner of the park)
• Additional family and friends meet at Miami Metro Zoo’s Picnic
area at 10:30 am
• Special Wildlife Show at the Amphitheater at 12:00 pm (noon)
• Pig Zookeeper talk at 2:00 pm
